Sustainably Sourcing Your Wedding Attire

A study conducted by Southern Cross University found that 77% of Americans want to learn to live more sustainably. It's important for individuals to take responsibility, and even small changes can make a difference. When it comes to sourcing your wedding clothing and jewelry, you don’t have to opt for brand new. Buying vintage or second-hand is far more sustainable than having a dress custom-made. You can also look to source jewelry made from recycled materials.

I'm Not as Cool as I Thought I Was Last Week

It’s true — my coolness has been completely botched.

I’ve always loved shopping at thrift stores. I’ve purchased a few new things in my life, however the main focus has always been on second-hand. I love finding that diamond in the rough, and you can’t beat the price. Most importantly though, I’ve always seen it as an under-acknowledged form of recycling and I feel good knowing I’m not contributing to new clothes being made.
