World Vs. Human Pollution

Human pollution is getting out of hand. 91% of the world population is exposed to unhealthy amounts of pollution. We should be focusing on all types of pollution as most is harmful for humans and wildlife. There are seven different types of pollution. 

  • Air Pollution

  • Water Pollution

  • Land Pollution

What You Need to Know About Light Pollution

Up until a few years ago, when I first interviewed Kevin “The Dark Ranger” Poe, I had never heard of light pollution, and had never contemplated the devastating impact of artificial light on wildlife. Since then, I’ve been looking up at the night sky more. Aware that I’m missing a great deal of it because of our excessive suburban lighting.

End Your Plastic Straw Habit

Our girls love straws, but I despise them.

Now that we live in Costa Rica, I visit stores less frequently and we rely on friends and family visiting from the States to fulfill our consumer needs every once and awhile. Our latest request from a visiting friend was to bring metal straws to satiate the little girls’ straw desires.
