Starting Your Day with Mindfulness

Waking Up with Awareness

One of the best techniques to help bring mindfulness to everyday living is to start your day with it.

Many of us have a rushed morning routine and do not pause to be present until later in the day.

This exercise can help you start off your day with a mindful moment, bolstering your practice in the coming hours.

When you wake up, take a moment to pause before you get up.

How Breathwork Can Change Your Life

In our modern age of chaos and strict schedules, we often neglect the internal balance between body and mind. When we think of getting in great shape or becoming healthy, our first thought is to spend hours in the gym and hundreds of dollars spent on 'healthy' food.

Affected by Allergies? The VOCs in Your Indoor Air Could be to Blame

Breathe

Just Breathe.

If there is one thing I tell my clients to do on a regular basis it’s ‘Breathe’.

While it may sound silly, it is a fact that many of us forget to take deep, slow breaths during the normal course of our day. We get so stressed at work, at home, on social media, and now with a global pandemic, that we don’t stop and just breathe. We spend the day worried which is exacerbated by only taking short, shallow breaths.

Pericles Rellas's picture

Pericles Rellas is a prosperity coach who, for over 20 years, has worked with tens of thousands of people to live lives of power, purpose, and prosperity.

Almost 25 years ago he noticed that his business clients exhibited what he now calls a ‘condition’ around money. Regardless of how much more they made, their situation and experience around money remained the same - stress, anxiety, dread, and just treading water or being behind. He set out to understand why and how to transform this condition. Thus the birth of Abundance & Prosperity.

There are myriad coaches who are great at helping you make more money. Pericles is one of the few who actually works with you to not only create powerful (and empowering) structures to manage the flow of money in your life, but also to transform your relationship to money. By combining these approaches, it allows you to expand your capacity to earn and keep more money, thus having and experiencing Abundance & Prosperity in your life right now. All while maintaining your personal spiritual path.

It is not about working harder or more - it’s about your relationship to money.

You can find out more about Pericles and his Abundance & Prosperity program by visiting his Website or Facebook page.

Rhythm of Breathing Key to Controlling Fear and Emotional Behavior

by Alex Pietrowski | Waking Times

We live in a fearful world with exposure to a deluge of stressors everyday. As much as fear is a result of reacting to the actual or perceived events in our lives, it is also a biological function of the human body, and when equipped with an understanding of how the body manages the emotional system, we can easily outsmart it, tricking ourselves into emotional balance.

Room for Thought

In 1998, I had the rare pleasure of spending some time in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. One of the days I was there, we took a day trek to Amayangri Stupa (Amayangri means "the top,") an ancient site dedicated to contemplation and reflection, marked by a modest configuration of stones and tattered prayer flags. This was the highest elevation possible given that I was not a climber and to go any further requires equipment and training.
