Smart EV

Future360 visits the LA Auto Show to check out the all electric version of the Smart car. While the regular smart car gets 38 mpg, the electric version gets 93 mpg equivalent. Smart GM Tracy Matura explains the car’s genesis. "20 years ago the developers of Smart envisioned the Smart car as an electric car. The great thing is you don’t have to give up on styling or performance, not changes to body style, it’s literally just battery versus gasoline". The Smart EV has a range of 68 miles combined, and a price point of $25K MSRP before rebates.
