A leading reason in many turning toward plant-based eating is the moral implication of killing animals for food. Though killing prey for nutrition may have been the way of our ancestors, the current methods used to produce meat are largely inhumane. In response, many are turning towards vegetarian or vegan meal plans in order to refuse to fund a barbaric industry.

Contrary to circulating rumors, plant-based diets that consist of no meat or animal products are entirely able to fuel individuals with all the protein, energy, and strength they need to both feel and be their best.
