
Almond Joy Smoothie
Believe it or not, there is such a thing as healthy decadence. Here is the kind-to-your-body version of a junk food recipe so you can celebrate the good rich flavor while respecting yourself enough to give you body the best. You deserve it! (and you deserve chocolatey goodness!)
Ingredients:
1-2 Tablespoons Raw Cacao
3 Dates, pitted
1 Tablespoon fresh ground Flax seeds (If using a high speed blender like VitaMix, no need to grind)
1 Tablespoon Chia seeds
1 heaping Tablespoon raw almond butter (100% almonds)
1 Tablespoon Coconut butter or mana
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 tsp Cinnamon
Pinch of Celtic sea salt (remineralizing)
5 ice cubes
8 oz Coconut water
Method:
Add all ingredients into your blender and whirl for 1-2 minutes for a smooth rich texture.
