*Make the night before
No time for breakfast? Here's a great way to prepare a nourishing meal the night before and grab and go in the morning! (*AND you're recycling jars!)
Chopped fresh seasonal fruit: Half sliced banana, fresh berries, diced strawberries
1/4-1/3 C Rolled Oats (Gluten Free available*)
1 Tbl chia seeds
1/4- 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
Coconut, hemp or almond milk
1 8 oz jar with lid
Layer each ingredient in your jar. Mix well. Then add enough milk to cover 3/4 of the jar. Allow space for expanding oats. Refrigerate. Ready to eat in the morning!
May heat if you like it hot, but tasty room temp.
