Roni Ziemba is a photographic artist specializing in public safety and surgical imagery for publication and art installations. No stranger to adventure she has walked solo across the state of South Dakota, been held hostage in Iraq, and shot at in Belfast. She has worked closely with such greats as Robert Redford and Cesar Chavez in her roles in the film industry and as an activist. She recently became qualified as a wildland firefighter so that she and her camera could get that much closer to the fire line. During the summer she rides horses in Montana and follows the rodeo circuit capturing the cowboy lifestyle. But her unique calling is photographing firefighters and law enforcement officers in the line of duty as they risk their lives protecting our American communities. At age 56 there is no sign of Roni slowing down. In fact if you ask her she would say the best is yet to come!
