Smoothie in the Summer to Beat the Heat Index

Mmmmmmm, summertime smoothie. You have that aching sweet tooth during the post-lunch doldrums...once upon a time you'd go to the coffee shop and get an iced blended or a frappé coffee with twenty extra sweet ingredients tossed in, because what the heck, if you're going to indulge, you might as well go for it. Then you started reading about ingredients, if not counting calories at least nodding toward their existence. You might also have felt the outrage of spending more for your beverage than you did on your sandwich at lunch. What's an exhausted, needing a pick-me-up person to do?
