“There is no path to happiness: happiness is the path.” ~the Buddha
How much of your life are you deferring to a perfect future day?
The Buddha reminds us that every step, every breath, every moment IS happiness not the path TOWARDS happiness.
As we navigate this crazy busy world we’ve constructed around ourselves, how much more do we need to be happy?
It’s a question I ask myself as much as I ask you.
With each breath there is another opportunity for busy-ness. What can we do to slow down and not get trapped living at a pace that doesn’t serve our deeper selves? Today, even with that knowledge, how affected by that information do I need to be? Do I want to make choices based on what isn’t happening or what is happening? It really does come down to glass half-full or half-empty. Which one feeds your spirit and which one hurts your heart? That should tell you something
