“We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think.
When the mind is pure, Joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.”
~ Buddha

What is “Bliss”? What would it mean to live in a state of bliss? What does it mean to “Follow your bliss?” It sounds good … seems right. I take concepts I am interested in getting a deeper understanding about into a reflective state of mind, into the Silence of reflection if you will. In the Stillness of the Silence I can detect movement of insight, which eventually emerges as a cognitive awakening.

Bliss emerges for me as Love, as Kindness, as Compassion, all resonating through me like a tuning fork. One way I seem to tap into “Bliss” is to think on what I truly love, be it a person, an expression of creativity, appreciation, or being a contribution.

I love the experience of feeling free, happy, fulfilled, appreciated and appreciating. I will think more on “Bliss”, on how to Be It. Then perhaps the expression of It will occur naturally as I cultivate aligning with my own perception of It. It will require on my part the practice of reflecting on Bliss, on Love, on Joy, to manifest being Bliss.

Really, how much attention do I pay to thinking on Bliss, on happiness, on Joy? And how much attention do I pay to thinking on what I don’t want – expecting dwelling on what I don’t want to point the way to Bliss and happiness?

Not seeking Bliss, rather reflecting on It, will let the Infinite Intelligence within the word illumine my consciousness and understanding.

What is Bliss for you?

“For I have learned that every heart will get
What it prays for
Most …
For a day, just for one day,
Talk about that which disturbs no one
And bring some peace into your
Beautiful eyes.”
~ Hafiz
